Entrepreneurial Fellows Class (EFC)

EFC is designed to empower CEOs, founders and the next generation of family business leaders to enhance their knowledge and expertise in managing and growing their businesses. By exploring an integrative business framework and strategically analyzing the company’s foundation, visionary leaders are challenged to rethink the approach of their business acumen.

What We Do

Learning within the EFC program is supported by custom designed curriculum and materials, confidential mentorship, and peer learning that delivers leadership education from various viewpoints and experiences.

Custom Curriculum

Our curriculum provides the necessary tools for fellows to continue to grow their businesses despite the economic and competitive challenges they face every day. Content is designed to help entrepreneurs become more productive, high-impact leaders. Fellows obtain the latest subject knowledge, practice solution creation and work on individual implementation plans. Faculty are carefully chosen for each class based on a proven track record of teaching entrepreneurs and business leaders.

Confidential Mentors

Mentoring is a powerful tool for personal and professional development. EFC offers an expert mentor match to complement the classroom experience and help guide fellows through broader day-to-day challenges.

Peer Learning

In each class, fellows participate in peer learning activities that promote the interaction between fellows, mentors and program faculty to share ideas and help solve real day-to-day business problems. The result is a network in every sense of the word.

The approach helps participants build multifaceted leadership skills for sustained success. Following successful completion of the program, a certificate of academic achievement is awarded by the University of Pittsburgh to fellows during a formal graduation ceremony.
