On July 19, eleven entrepreneurs completed the BizFIT/Community Power to Prosper courses offered through the IEE’s Urban & Community Entrepreneurship Program and graduated as the 2023 BizFit/CP2P cohort. The graduation was held at the Pitt Community Engagement Center in Homewood. Each graduate gave a brief presentation about their business and what they found to be most impactful for their business from the course. The program is designed for inner city business owners interested in entrepreneurship and growth. As a result, each business owner added to their network and made lasting connections to benefit their business.
The program started in March and met every other week, with each session covering a different topic, such as marketing and how to financially manage your business. The 11 graduates of the 2023 cohort included:
