Thriving communities are built on the restaurants, shops, professional services, and other local businesses that make up those neighborhoods. UCEP is a resource for those business owners.

Community Power to Prosper registration typically opens in May and runs through early July. The UCEP team reserves the right to cap the class at a set number so applying at one’s earliest ability is encouraged. An application for Community Power to Prosper can be found here. Over the course of the six-month program that runs July through December, Community Power to Prosper classes are held once every other week. Each class is held from 8AM-10AM at the Community Engagement Center – Homewood. Enrollees are expected to attend every class. UCEP staff reserves the right to revoke enrollment if a participant’s absence or engagement becomes an issue.
