Ruby’s Painting & Contracting Services, LLC is a locally owned painting and wall covering business that offers high-quality services from a professional staff of painters and contractors to residential, commercial, and industrial clients. Morish Wilson, the proud owner, has been working diligently to take his business to the next level and has successfully grown and excelled in the industry as a result.
After more than 20 years in the industry, Wilson started the business in 2016 and has tremendously grown Ruby’s Painting & Contracting Services’ list of clients and core competencies. He has successfully onboarded a number of additional employees and secured a small business loan as well as contributed his own personal funds to support the growth of the business.
Morish began working with the University of Pittsburgh Small Business Development Center in early 2019. At the time, he was looking for guidance on Business Planning, Financial Analysis, Human Resources (specifically direction with managing employees and his budget), and Government Contracting. Over the last 2½ years, the Pitt SBDC has worked with Morish on these items and is happy to celebrate his success.
In addition to working with the University of Pittsburgh Small Business Development Center for consulting services, Morish has attended several business workshops as well, including the BizFit program, Community Power to Prosper and the UPMC Essentials for Success.
