Tracey Jackson has an extensive background in the funeral services industry and has taken the necessary steps to accomplish her goals of one day managing her own funeral home. With her degree in Mortuary Sciences, her prior internship in the field, and her years spent working for her uncle’s funeral home, she is well prepared to take on this new business venture.
Tracey is currently working towards obtaining a business loan with Bridgeway Capital in order to purchase an existing funeral home, and become the new owner, operating under the new name, Exquisite Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. Tracey has been working diligently throughout this acquisition and is in the final steps of the process with her lender.
Tracey reached out to the University of Pittsburgh Small Business Development Center in October 2020, seeking assistance with the loan package documents needed for this acquisition. Through several months of consulting, the University of Pittsburgh’s Small Business Development Center was able to assist Tracey with a Business Plan Review and 3-year Financial Projections.

Tracey’s loan is in Underwriting, and she is hopeful in her preparations to soon be the new owner of Exquisite Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc.
