Go Global Exporting Series: Preparing Your Product for Export

Preparing Your Product for Export – Product Modifications and Foreign Government Regulations (CE Mark, CCC Mark, GDPR)

Selecting and preparing your product for export requires knowledge of the unique characteristics of each target market. The extent to which your company is willing to modify products sold for export markets is a key policy issue to be addressed in the export plan. To enter a foreign market successfully, your company may have to modify its product to conform to government regulations, modify its product to facilitate shipment or compensate for possible differences in engineering and design standards. Learn about foreign product standards and import regulations.

Topics:

  • GDPR (Alison Alvarez, Blast Point)
  • CE Mark, CCC (Michael Monyok, Meyer, Unkovic & Scott)
