How Can EFC Help Grow Your Business?

EFC Graduation 2013
2013 EFC Graduating Class

It’s hard to believe summer is over and fall is now beginning.  Just think – soon we’ll be passing out Halloween candy and preparing the turkey!  The fall months always seem to fly by, so before you get caught up in the holidays now is a great time to think about ways you can benefit yourself as a business leader and in turn your business in the new year.  Here at the Institute Dione Cahillane and myself are already busy at work recruiting for the Entrepreneurial Fellows Class (EFC) for 2015.

The Entrepreneurial Fellows Class is a yearlong program that provides entrepreneurial business leaders with the opportunity to continue their education, network with innovative individuals like themselves and formulate strategic plans to enhance their company’s success.

Unique benefits of the Entrepreneurial Fellows Program include:

  • One-on-one mentoring with an established business leader
  • Dynamic curriculum covering topics such as strategic and operational planning, finance and accounting, human resources management, organizational processes, and marketing
  • Peer learning and sharing

The EFC has been going strong since 2000, graduating over 400 entrepreneurial leaders.  Greg Gold, Miller’s Ace Hardware and Class of 2013, raved about his experience saying,

“What I learned in class was immediately applicable to my business.  I learned you manage things like assets or inventory, but you lead people, an important distinction.”

I’ve had the pleasure of sitting in on a few classes, and the interaction between fellows and speakers is invaluable.  They all value each other’s experiences and want to learn from and help each other – it really is a wonderful thing!

I truly believe you can expand your network while improving your business and bottom-line by partaking in the Entrepreneurial Fellows Class.  Check out our website for more information on the EFC.

If you’re interested in the class for 2015 please give me a call – I’d love to hear about you and your business and how the Institute can help!

Hope to see you in class in the New Year,

-Katie Robison
