Process & Systems for Sales Program

We had a great turnout early Wednesday morning where we were joined by speaker Bryan Whittington for a business leader’s workshop program. Bryan is a developer of sales culture, strategies and tactics under Sandler Training by Peak Performance Management.  He noted how important it is to use LinkedIn as a tool to launch your sales and further your network.

Key notes from Bryan regarding LinkedIn:

  • Check your profile daily and effectively use it for 40 minutes. Don’t waste your own time by getting too sucked in. Keeping a timer by you can help keep you on track.
  • Use the Advanced People Search at the top of your screen to help narrow your searches. Click 2nd connections and click one of the following characteristics such as location, company or industry you are looking for. This feature enables you to only view people with shared connections.
  • Reach out to that shared connection and ask if they would be willing to introduce you to the person you want to connect with.
  • Once connected you’ve gained a new potential resource and contact.

Linkedin is most powerful tools for new personal and business contact but 40 minutes?! No way – 2-3h is minimum for me – BTW thanks for this Article.
