Managing conflict is a critical success factor for families that share business or other assets. Understanding how to work with it can unlock the potential to achieve goals—as well as protect and enrich lasting family relationships. This session will help show how to recognize passive conflict (getting stuck) and active conflict (fighting) in family business and what forces are involved. Participants will leave with a better understanding of how to manage differences to promote business success and lasting relationships.

Doug is the founding partner of Continuity Family Business Consulting and co-author of the book, “Deconstructing Conflict: Understanding Family Business, Shared Wealth and Power,” that will be provided to attendees.
