Co-Founder of Starbucks Speaks at Pitt’s Innovation Week
More than 100 Pitt students, staff and faculty were inspired by Starbucks Co-Founder Zev Siegl (also known as ‘Mr. Start-up’) this week during a presentation as part of the Innovation Institute’s Innovation Week. Siegl, who is passionate about inspiring and developing young entrepreneurs, provided an insightful perspective into the life of the entrepreneur and offered strategies on how to make that life a little easier. From setting a vision, identifying mentors and partners, securing funding, setting up operations, and product development and launch, he provided practical advice on how to be a successful business owner.
